Description

The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, Georgia intends to solicit quotes in response to Request for Quote (RFQ) W911SE-06-T-0027 to provide furnished apartments for 87th Division Training Support Division, Birmingham, AL 35244-1 295. The requirement is to supply 30 (one) bedroom furnished apartments within a 10-mile radius of the U.S. Army Reserve Center, 1400 Golden Acorn Drive, Birmingham, AL 35244-1295. The resulting award will be for a for 12 months. The following standards wi ll set the minimum allowable standards for Government contracted housing for mobilized soldiers. (1) All rentals shall be in accordance with the provision stated in the Statement of Requirements that will accompany the Request for Quote WHEN RELEASED. The anticipated Request for Quote release date will be on or about 27 April 2006, RFQs will be due on 3 May 2006, 10:00 a.m. EST. The apartments shall meet all state, local, federal, and OSHA regulations, codes and standards. The North American Industrial Cla ssification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 721110 with a Small Business Size Standard of $6 million.
