- Description
- Army has a total 100% small business set-aside requirement. TRADOC Deputy Chief of Staff Operations and Training (DCSOPS&T) is responsible for establishing standardized Lifelong Learning Center (LLC) capabilities for TRADOC and non-TRADOC schools. T he DCSOPS&T has designated the US Army Signal Center and Fort Gordon to serve as the Executive Agent (EA) for this effort, which has been in the R&D phase since December 2003. The Pilot Program is the five-year phased-in stand-up of a LLC capability at ea ch proponent school. These LLCs will be accessible to all users at the user's teachable moment. They will comply with the Army Enterprise Infrastructure and support a service-oriented architecture. The LLCs will expand/enhance each proponent school with an always on /365/24/7 capability. The LLC infrastructure will leverage cutting-edge technologies and be adaptable to future technology evolutions that will improve the Lifelong Learning (LLL) concept.
