- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems command, on behalf of PMW 170, intends to award a sole source contract, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, to Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC), 6125 East 21st Street, Mail Stop 22, Indianapolis, IN 46219-2058 to provide highly specialized engineering services to meet the Environmental Satellite Receiver Processor (ESRP) Program requirements. These services shall include the analysis, implementation, upgrade, and repair of the hardware and software for the Navy's meteorological and oceanographic satellite receiver processor systems (AN/SMQ-11 and AN/FMQ-17). RTSC is the only source that currently has the expertise and facilities necessary to perform system level integration, testing, and validation of the hardware and software upgrades and improved capabilities for these processor systems. The Government is not soliciting proposals in response to this synopsis. The solicitation will be issued without further notice.
