Description

Furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to construct three (03) livestock pipelines on BLM Property at a site located in Garfield County, Montana, (maps to be included in the solicitation). This project will have two (02) Bid Schedules. Depending on quotes received will determine what schedule will be awarded. Schedule A work includes (1) Mobilization; (2) Trenching (Common), Backfilling, and Compacting 19,175 LF; (3) Trenching (Rock), Backfilling, and Compacting 1,900 LF; (4) installing 10,900 LF of PVC, Class 160 or HDPE, SDR-11, 1-1/2 pipe; (5) installing 10,175 LF of PVC, Class 200 or HDPE, SDR-9, 1-1/2 pipe; (6) installing 7- 1 inch curbstop assemblies; (7) installing 2 curb stop/drain assemblies; (8) installing 6 air relief valve assemblies; and (9) installing 4 hydrant assemblies. All quantities in Schedule A are estimated. Schedule B work includes (1) Mobilization; (2) Plowing (Common), Backfilling, and Compacting 20,775 LF; (3) Plowing (Rock), Backfilling, and Compacting 300 LF; (4) installing 10,900 LF of HDPE, SDR-11, 1-1/2 pipe; (5) installing 10,175 LF of HDPE, SDR-9, 1-1/2 pipe; (6) installing 7- 1 inch curbstop assemblies; (7) installing 2 curb stop/drain assemblies; (8) installing 6 air relief valve assemblies; and (9) installing 4 hydrant assemblies. All quantities in Schedule B are estimated. The contractor will have 50 days to complete this project after Notice to Proceed is officially issued. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $25,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and may be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Contractors receiving government contracts must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. It is also recommended that propective contractors complete their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation for this project will be posted at http:/ideasec.nbc.gov ON OR ABOUT May 8, 2006. A tentative site visit is scheduled for the week of May 22, 2006. Response date for quotes will be on or about June 9, 2006. NO hard copies will be sent out by this office. Small business size standard is $31.0 million. See Note No. 29.
