Description: THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6 AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. PROPOSALS ARE DUE NOT LATER THAN 28 APRIL 2006 AT 3:00 PM EST. The Contractor shall provide all the labor, material, supplies, and transportation necessary to repair Lucifer Furnace Model No. PCRF 3672, Serial No. 3185 in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. A formal site visit is scheduled for 25 April 2006 at 1:00 PM EST. Interested participants will meet at Robins Air Force Gate 2 Visitor Center not later than 12:45 PM. Offerors or quoters are urged to attend.
