- Seeking potential sources that are HUBZone certified or a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Expressions of interest that indicate whether your company qualifies under either category and a brief summary of your qualifications may be emailed to the listed point of contact by the due date. The information will be considered in the set aside determination made for this project prior to announcement. ---- The project consists of painting several metal sided buildings, a boiler exhaust muffler that requires high temperature paint, and exterior repair and painting of 2 wood sided buildings. In addition, the 3 story main building complex work consists of painting approximately 300 exterior wood window sashes and limited brick and concrete lintel repair. The two wood sided buildings and the main complex window frames are coated with lead based paint. There are 12 buildings or structures to be painted with an approximate wall area of 22,000 square feet plus door and window frames, soffits, miscellaneous overhangs or entries, and piping on the sides of the buildings. The wall area of the two building coated with lead based paint is approximately 5,850 square feet. The campus is fully occupied and some coordination is required for work effecting access to buildings and particularly any containment needed for dealing with lead based paint. The general dollar magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Plans and specifications are scheduled to be available by June 1, 2006. A synopsis will be posted prior to the solicitation. This is not a request for proposals.
