- St. Joe Ranger District, Shoshone County, Idaho. Work consists of constructing and reconstructing campground loop roads, parking/camping spurs, paths, and family units. Road work includes constructing and reconstructing main loop roads, lengthening and widening parking/camping spurs, constructing new camping spurs, furnishing and placing crushed aggregate on the loop / access roads and spurs, and constructing/reconstructing paths and trails with an optional item for placing aggregate on road 1997. In addition, work includes spreading Calcium Chloride flakes on the access/loop roads and spurs and aggregate surfaced paths as well as an optional item to spread Calcium Chloride on road 1997. Facilities improvements include furnishing and installing fire rings, picnic tables, pivoting benches, constructing tent pads, bulletin boards, signs, and relocating a donation station as well as an optional item for furnishing and installing a precast concrete vault toilet. In addition work includes hauling barrier rocks from a government provided source and placing the rocks at various locations within the campground. Additional work includes removal of 2 vault toilets and construction of a rock stairway. Government price range estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. Approximate start work date of August 15, 2006 with completion by August 15, 2007. Pre-bid tour scheduled for June 28, 2006 AT 10:00 a.m.
