- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, in support of Naval Ship Repair Facility Yokosuka, Japan is soliciting for a firm, fixed price, service type contract for the cleaning of collection, holding, and transfer (CHT) systems onboard both the USS Gary (FFG-51) and the USS Fitzgerald (DDG-62) docked at Yokosuka Japan. Services to be performed per the Statement of Work included in the solicitation. Place of performance is U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility Yokosuka, Japan. Services for the Fitzgerald to be performed from 9-17 May 2006 and services for the Gary to be performed from 5-30 June 2006. The commercial solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside on or about 17 April 2006 with a closing date of 27 April 2006. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to joshua.c.carter@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. Please do not call with questions regarding the posting of the solicitation on NECO until after the posting date, 6 December 2005. No bidder list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. To be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
