- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to enter into negotiations with Simply Better, Inc., 340 Vermon Way, Suite D, El Cajon, California 92020-1950 for the purchase of Engine Maintenance Stands, P/N T700MS1 in support of the H-1 aircrafts. NAWCAD is looking to place a Firm-Fixed type contract for a basic quantity ofTwenty-Seven (27) units and an option quantity of 27 units. The T700MS1 engine maintenance stand is used for teardown and build up of the T700-GE-401/ 40 turbo-shaft engine. The Government intends to procurement these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Simply Better, Inc is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the Engine Maintenance Stands. In addition, the Government does not own any data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-06-R-0077. Information should be received no later than 02 May 2006. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation package will be available.
