Box 1070, 801 Broad Street, Nashville, TN 37202-1070 Description: INVITATION FOR BID FOR A REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT FOR THE U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, NASHVILLE DISTRICT FOR PAVING AT VARIOUS RECREATION AREAS LOCATED IN LAKE BARKLEY TO INCLUDE LIVINGSTON, LYONS, AND TRIGG COUNTIES IN KENTUCKY. CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, 110 9th Avenue South, Room A-604, Nashville, TN 37203. DESCRIPTION: The Corps of Engineers (COE), Nashville District, Nashville, TN intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. The small business size standard for th is requirement is $28.5 million. The estimated value of the contract is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The duration of the contract is five (5) years (Base + 4 option years). The contractor will be required to furnish all equipment, labor, and mater ials required to pave, resurface, repair base failures and /or reshape and compact existing roads and parking areas at various recreation areas on Lake Barkley, Kentucky. The solicitation including plans and specifications will be available electronically through this web site @ http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All amendments will be issued through the same site. Interested firms must be registered in the Central Contract Register to be awarded a Government Contract. All pertinent information will be posted on the web site. E-mail notification will be sent upon issuance of any amendments to all registered firms. Since e-mail notification may not be reliable based on system constraints, it is recommended that each registered firm check the website daily for upd ates.
