- US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to award a 5-year Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF) contract for the maintenance, repair, and minor construction of facilities and structures within the geographic area of operations assigned to th e SFOO, Clewiston (Lake Okeechobee), FL. Work will include maintenance and repair of buildings, structures, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, water supply and sewage systems; maintenance of trees, shrubs, grass, and landscaped beds; maintenance of signs, g ates, bumpers, posts, fencing, guardrails and traffic counters; maintenance and repair of unpaved and paved roads, walkways, parking areas, drainage structures, and boat launching ramps; repairing and maintaining rip rap and beaches; pesticide and herbicid e services; maintenance of communication equipment; maintenance and repair of drainage systems, water control structures, dikes, levees, and lock compounds. Services may also include heavy equipment operation, tractor operation, brush cleaning, tow ditch c leaning, herbicide and insecticide application, plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs to buildings at Cape Canaveral. Prospective bidders must bid on the base year and all option years. The government will award a contract resulting from this solici tation to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to this Request for Proposal (RFP); will be most advantageous to the Government. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside, therefore only small businesses are invited to respond. The a pplicable NAICS code is 561210; Small Business Size Standard is $32.5 Million. Solicitation, W912EP-06-R-0012 will be issued on or about 17 May 2006 and offers due on or about 11 July 2006. RFP will be issued in electronic format only.
