Description

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSISThe 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for Radiagem 4000 Survey Meter kits (6 each) and associated components (low dose rate gamma probe (6 ea), PIPS probe radiagem 4000 (9 each), probe/radiagem cable (3 each), special radiagem case (6 each), 2.5 ft radiagem cable (3 each) and homeland security check source, 10 , uCi (6 each)) to include any and all shipping/handling costs. The requested delivery is approximately thirty (30) days after receipt of an award. This is a Sole Source with Canberra Industries, Inc. IAW FAR 6.302-1. Canberra Industries, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government?s requirement as they are the only company that is manufacturing a solid state probe with this capability that is also certified for use at altitudes up to 40K feet. No solicitation documents exists at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 3829 with a business size of 500 employees and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334519. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that Canberra Industries, Inc. is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
