- This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation to provide Engineering Services for the AN/ALR-56M Advanced Radar Warning Receiver. The purpose of this task is to provide for contractor AN/ALR-56M Engineering Services Support. The scope of this task includes providing On-Call Sustaining Support. The contractor shall provide all necessary resources required to accomplish and/or support this task, including software and data/databases. The AN/ALR-56M Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) system provides warning to aircrews on the C-130J and F-16 of radar-guided threats by displaying the radar type and bearing and providing audio warning. The AN/ALR-56M requires system updates to remain effective. Period of Performance shall be 12 months after receipt of order (ARO). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit sole source to BAE SYSTEMS INFORMATION AND ELECTRONIC WARFARE SYSTEMS, 65 SPIT BROOK RD, NASHUA NH 03060-6909 (Cage Code 94117 ) under the authority of 6.302 under contract F09603-03-D-0001.
