- Description
- The 95 Air Base Wing (95ABW) is seeking potential sources capable of providing Twenty (20) Trams (with drivers) and Four (4) Trolleys (with drivers) in support for Edwards Air Force Base, California, Air/Show Open House. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this effort is 487110. It is anticipated that a fixed-price contract will be awarded. The Edwards AFB Air/Show Open House is planned for 28 and 29 Oct 2006. Trams/Trolley and drivers will be required for availability from 6:30A.M. till 7:00 P.M. on both days. Contract award is estimated to take place September 2006. Source Selection procedures can be found in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 15.3-Source Selection, Air Force FAR Supplement (AFFARS) and the Air Force Materiel Command FAR Supplement (AFMCFARS) thereto. These regulations are available electronically at the Air Force (AF) FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil and will be used to obtain the best value for the Government for this acquisition. This synopsis is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for bids/proposals. Responses will assist the Government in determining whether to set-aside/restrict competition in some way or solicit offers from all responsible sources. All interested offerors need to submit the following information: (1) identify current or recent (last 3 years) performance for same or similar work as described in this notice, to include a brief description of the work performed, (2) dates of actual performance; (3) key customer points of contact to include phone numbers; (4) business size and type i.e. 8(a), SDB, Hub Zone, Large etc. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this announcement.
