- This is a SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. Proposals are hereby being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Refer to solicitation as RFQ N00140-06-Q-0947. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.arnet.gov/far and www.dtic.mil/dfars. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated for 25 Network Cards - Intel Pro 1000 Gigibit NIC, Dual Port Fiber Gigabit Ethernet. The NAICS code 541512 and the Small Business Standard is 100. This combined/synopsis solicitation is 100% set aside for small businesses. The Philadelphia Division, Contracting Department, FISC Norfolk will make the RFQ available electronically, upon its release, at http://www.neco.navy.mil/. All contractors must be registered (http://www.ccr.gov) in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
