- SOURCES SOUGHT. The Central California Area Office, Folsom, CA is currently seeking sources to provide preventative maintenance and testing on eighteen (18) RL Type type LV draw out circuit breakers. These range from 250 amp trip to 1600 amp trip (800 amp frame to 1600 amp frame). All breakers will be primary current injected. Two (2) MGM 1000 kva dry type transformers. A 480 volt, 100 amp single-phase power source to feed our test equipment will be provided by the customer. Personnel training must comply with OSHA CFR1910.269 Electrical Safety Standard, which sets minimum safety rules and practices for the design, operation, and maintenance of high-voltage systems (over 600 volts). The Bureau will coordinate all outages and perform all switching to de-energize/isolate equipment to be serviced. We shall supply a suitable and stable source of power for operation of test equipment at each test site when normal power is removed. The Contractor shall specify requirements. The engineer will supply a complete set of electrical plans, including the plant single-line diagram, specifications and any pertinent change orders prior to commencement of work. The Bureau will ensure that copies of Operations and Maintenance Manuals and related literature for equipment being serviced is available on site for use by contractor personnel. This notice is not a request for proposal and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. Market reseach is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources from Small Business firms. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
