- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is soliciting for the performance of Clandestine Laboratory Training at DEA?s Camp Upshur located at the DEA/FBI Training Center, Quantico Marine Base, Quantico Va. 22135. A fixed price requirements contract is anticipated, but is subject to change. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The solicitation will be issued in or about April 2006, and will be issued solely through the DEA?s acquisition website at http://www.dea.gov. Click on ?Acquisitions,? then ?Open Solicitations.? Hardcopies of the RFP will not be available. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and any amendments. It is the offeror?s responsibility to monitor this website for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. This requirement is subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA) and therefore a U. S. Department of Labor wage determination (WD) is a part of the solicitation. If DEA does not provide copies, it will be the responsibility of the offeror to get a copy of the WD. The WD number and the pertinent information will be provided in the solicitation document. The proposed contract will have a period of performance of one year and four one-year options, beginning on date of award through 365 days thereafter with four successive twelve month option periods. Security background investigations may be performed on contractor personnel. Upon receipt of a solicitation package, questions/comments will be accepted and may be sent via regular mail, e-mail, or fax to the primary point of contact in this announcement. Questions/comments will be taken into consideration and incorporated into the solicitation, where appropriate, via amendments. NO QUESTIONS/COMMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED VIA TELEPHONE OR BEFORE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION. All sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. See Note 1.
