- This synopsis is for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite contract for Aircraft Maintenance Slings. Buyer requests that this contract cover a period of five years for order from date of issuance of contract. Maximum contract quantity is 68 each. Initial contract order is 1-20 each. Contract order minimum for each out year is 1 each and the maximum order is 12 each. Item 1: NSN: 1730-01-135-9203RN; NOUN: Aircraft Sling, Maintenance; P/N: F458-51109-2; items must be proof load tested. FUNCTION: This sling is used with an overhead hoist, or crane to remove or install the cowl on specific military aircraft. DELIVERY: 120 days after receipt of order to WR-ALC, Robins AFB, GA. The approximate RFP issued date will be 31 March 2006 with the approximate response date of 30 April 2006. RFQ will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov only. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor will be acceptable. This is small business set aside procurement. Specifications, plans, or drawings related to this procurement will be made available but they are export control. All SB responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
