- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC), located at the Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey, is soliciting proposals for Airport and Aircraft Safety Research Technical Documentation and Engineering Support with performance at the above location. A Time & Materials (T&M), level of effort (LOE), indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated as a result of Screening Information Request DTFACT-06-R-00005. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses with applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561110. The services shall consist of labor, personnel and management, necessary to accomplish this effort with respect to airport and aircraft safety research and support in accordance with the terms and conditions of SIR No. DTFACT-06-R-00005 and its attachments. The base period of performance will be for two (2) years with three (3), one (1) year option periods. The anticipated award date will be May 2006. Contract performance shall begin on June 1, 2006. SIR No. DTFACT-06-R-00005 is provided as an attachment to this announcement along with all related attachments and other information. Any questions regarding the terms and conditions contained in the SIR or any of its attachments must be done so via e-mail. All questions shall be sent to chris.gallagher@faa.gov. All questions must be submitted no later than 10:00am EST on Tuesday, April 11, 2006. The completed SIR and all other information required for proposing on this effort must be submitted no later than 2:00pm EST on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 per the instructions set forth in the SIR. Amended SIR Schedule A dated 4/4/2006, and amended SIR sections B through M are hereby attached to this announcement and hereby replace the original SIR dated 3/2/2006. All questions/inquiries regarding the amended SIR must be submitted in writing no later than 10:00AM EST, Tuesday, April 11, 2006. The due date for proposal submission is hereby extended to 2:00PM EST, Wednesday, April 26, 2006 per the instructions in the amended SIR.
