- The Request for Proposals described below is available as of 04/06/2006 at the web site listed. The Appeals Office within the IRS is seeking a contractor who shall provide photographic services on an as needed basis for making photographic prints and/or scanning prints to/from CD from various original sources. Produced prints shall primarily be 8 x 10 inch color, depending on instructions with some work in black and white. Generally, quantities of 20 copies will be made from each original. Produced prints shall be glossy and shall be made from various originals (i.e., photographs, and/or book illustrations, 35mm slides, color transparencies). Produced prints can be made by various photographic processes (ie., Ilfochrome, Type C from Internegatives, or other industry standard photographic processes, etc.). Originals shall be picked up and re-delivered with produced prints or CD to the IRS Art Appraisal Services Department in downtown Washington. Each turnaround time shall be determined by IRS based on task(s) urgency. An estimated 75% of work shall be processed in a ten (10) day timeframe, 20% will need to be processed in a seven (7) day timeframe and 10% is estimated to require a 24 hour turnaround. Infrequently, exposed 35mm film will need developing. To be considered for award offerors must be within 1 hr midday drive time of the user's address below.
