Description

Subject to final approval, the Bureau of the Public Debt intends to acquire on a sole-source basis through Leased Housing Developer Company, Parkersburg, WV, the performance of fire alarm alterations on the First Floor Training area, sprinkler system alterations in the Mail Opening/X-Ray Room on the Ground Floor, and sprinkler system alterations on the First Floor located in the Bureau of the Public Debt?s 200 Third Street Building. These devices shall be installed as necessary to meet all the fire and safety codes and standards. In accordance with Lease No. GS-03B-0640, the Lessor (Leased Housing Developer Company) is responsible for maintaining and controlling alterations to the building?s sprinkler system. The alterations involve work that is tied to or physically connected to apparatus under the control of the Lessor. No solicitation document is available. The Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. No telephone inquires will be accepted. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. Affirmative responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements, and that it is more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative response has been received by 2:00 p.m. EST April 11, 2006, a sole-source award will be made to Leased Housing Developer Company.
