- Naval Sea Systems Command, Program Executive Office Littoral Mine Warfare (PEO LMW), intends to extend the period of performance through April 2007 to issue orders on multiple occasions under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-03-G-6300 with Raytheon Company, 1847 West Main Road, Portsmouth, Rhode Island. This will allow for the ordering of material and services necessary to receive, evaluate, inspect, maintain, disassemble, repair, overhaul, refurbish, assemble and test the AN/SQQ-32 Mine Hunting Sonar. Orders will be issued pursuit to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c )(1). Raytheon Company is the sole designer, developer, producer and supplier of the AN/SQQ-32 Systems. As such, Raytheon Company is the only source with the expertise and in-depth technical knowledge of the equipment requirement to satisfactorily perform the work under the orders contemplated herein. No other source has the technical qualifications and necessary resources to provide the supplies and services required. The extended period of performance is estimated, April 2006 through April 2007.
