- The Contracts Department at Naval Air Warfare Center - Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, California, has been tasked to procure, on a sole source basis, Advanced Multiple Emitter Simulator (AMES) II system spare parts from Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (Amherst Systems), located at 1740 Wehrle Drive, Buffalo, NY. Amherst is the designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AMES II, as such, possesses the requisite knowledge and experience to provide the proper hardware. Any firms believing they can provide the material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing the firm's ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability, and without causing hardship to the AMES II program.
