- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has a requirement for Revision E Mounting Plates for the existing Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS). NAVAIR intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract modification with Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training and Support (LMSTS) Orlando, Florida to provide 128 Revision E Mounting Plates on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Lockheed Martin STS performed the previous effort that created Revision E Mounting Plates for the existing CASS Equipment and is the sole company with access to the necessary engineering drawings.
