- Description
- This is a 100% Hub Zone Set-Aside Procurement. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct a metal building addition to existing metal Building 5036 located at 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, Mis sissippi. Complete site work is required including but not limited to fill, asphalt paving around the new building after construction and construction of a new lift station with all associated plumbing to the new building. Water is available for connectio n on the site. The new addition for building 5036 is a metal building type construction approximately 48 feet x 90 feet in plan. Eave height is approximately 14 feet with gutters and downspouts. The addition will have 4 offices with 8 feet high ceilings and 4 inch metal stud walls with 5/8 inch painted gypsum board. In addition, there will be two laboratories with 13 foot high ceilings and 4 inch metal stud walls with a double layer of 5/8 inch painted gypsum board on laboratory side and one layer 5/8 i nch painted gypsum board on other side. All walls to be insulated with R-11 kraft faced insulation and all ceilings with R-19 kraft faced insulation. There is one fume hood in one laboratory, 3 single sinks in the laboratories and 3 double bowl sinks in the open area. In addition there will be approximately 88 linear feet of base and overhead cabinets in the laboratories with the base cabinets having a 1 inch thick resin top. There is an HVAC room inside the metal building. A wooden overhead storage ar ea approximately 10 feet x 29 feet in plan and 8 feet - 3 inch high will be constructed in the open area. The entire building is to be temperature controlled. There are 3 floor drains. All new water piping is 1 inch copper. All exits must have canopies . Complete lighting will be provided throughout as shown on plans. Electrical outlets will be provided in every room with 6 cord reels in the open area. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
