- Description
- The US Army, TACOM-Picatinny Center for Contracting and Commerce has a requirement for 7,500 M249 Short Barrel Blank Firing Attachments (BFA). The BFA is a device which is affixed to the muzzle of the weapon, which will enable the weapon to properly cycle when using blank ammunition. It is the Government's intent to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to: Nickels Tool and Model Shop, Great Bend, PA, 18821, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), Only one responsible source and no other suppliers will satisfy the government requirement. Release of the solicitation is anticipated on or about 20 April 2006 and will be available at http://procnet.pica.army.mil.
