- Description
- The 11th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for a contractor to repair the roof and slope conversion work on the Supply Building, Facility 5. This competitive acquisition is for the repair, alteration, and improvement work associated with the project entitled Repair Exterior / Repair Roof / Slope Conversion, Facility 5, Project Numbers BXUR 03-1035 and BXUR 57-5597, Bolling AFB, D.C. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, transportation, supervision and other services necessary to complete all associated work. Work includes but is not limited to repairing the roof, slope conversion work, exterior brick masonry, repair / replacement of coping stone, replace concrete steps, replace handrail, and improve existing storm drain system on Facility 5. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement on terms of physical characteristics and estimated range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System code is 238160 with the size standard being $13.0 million. The period of performance for this requirement is 136 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. This is a competitive best-value solicitation in which competing offerors? past and present performance history and technical is more important than price. This procurement is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED TOTAL HUB-Zone CONTRACTORS. This solicitation and specifications will be distributed solely on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 06 Apr 2006: http://www.eps.gov. Prospective offerors will be asked to register for this solicitation at the above referenced web site. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizOpps website frequently and obtain any amendments or other information pertinent to this RFP.
