- This acquisition is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) to repair or replace various types of roofs at March ARB, California. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to roof repair/replacement of single-ply roofs, clay tile roofs, and synthetic tile roofs for government facilities. Additional miscellaneous work will be required such as: (1) repair and/or replace flashing, gutters, downspouts and stucco work; (2) Provide protection and clean-up of building interiors, exteriors and surrounding areas during roof work; (3) Repair roof decks and support systems, as required; (4) Clean drains and traps, as needed to ensure proper operation of such systems. The solicitation will be issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and the government anticipates awarding a base period from the date of award through 31 May 2007, with two 1-year options that will result in a fixed-price IDIQ contract. The magnitude of the maximum amount is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, including all options. The applicable North American Industry Classification is 238160, and size standard is $13,000,000. The sealed bid will be awarded without discussion to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government considering price and price-related factors. This solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 15 April 2006, on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov, with a proposal receipt date on or about 15 May 2006. Paper copies will not be available. After the solicitation is posted, interested parties are cautioned to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may take some time to complete, so it is recommended that immediate action be initiated to ensure eligibility. A pre-proposal conference/site visit will be held on 25 April 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Operational Contracting Office conference room, 1940 Graeber Street, Bldg 449, March ARB CA. Potential offerors planning to attend the pre-proposal conference are requested to submit their names to the individual listed below after the procurement package has been downloaded.
