- Description
- This synopsis is modified to extend the closing date of the solicitation to 26 Apr 2006. The Proposed contact action is to establish a Requirements Contract for the Overhaul of the Left Hand Fan Cowling, Right Hand Fan Cowling and the Inlet Fan Cowling. This proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. The contract period will be for a one (1) year basic and four (4) priced one year options. Approved Source is Boeing Co, cage code 81205. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Technical Data is proprietary to Boeing Co. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation will be: 28 Dec 2005. The anticipated closing date is 27 Jan 2006. Award is expected to occur approximately 60 days after closing. Opt III 12 ea and Opt IV 14 ea. Item 0002: NSN: 1560-01-148-4263FL, P/N 65C18604-608/646, Best Estimated Quantities: Basic year 13 ea, Opt I 10 ea, Opt II 12 ea. Opt III 10 ea and Opt IV 13 ea. Item 0003: NSN: 1560-01-149-6602FL, P/N 65C18554-772, Best Estimated Quantities: Basic year 13 ea, Opt I 12 ea, Opt II 14 ea. Opt III 10 ea and Opt IV 13 ea. Item 0004: Data in accordance with DD1423 Delivery: Item 0001: 1 each per month 30 days ARO and reps Delivery: Item 0002: 1 each per month 30 days ARO and reps Delivery: Item 0003: 1 each per month 30 days ARO and reps Delivery: Item 0004: Data in accordance with the DD Form 1423 in solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
