- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 327215, Size Standard 500 employees. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F2BBAE6082A100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-08 effective 05 January 2006. The Government intends to award one contract line item number (CLIN 0001) with the potential of 4 One Year option CLINs for a Fabrication and Repair of Custom Quartz Fixtures. Offerors must provide price for base year, CLIN 0001 and option year CLINs, CLIN 1001, CLIN 1002, CLIN 1003, and 1004. Services Non-Personal: Contractor will furnish all labor, equipment, insurance, and supplies to perform the work. The work will be performed at the contractor place of business. This work is to be on-call and as required. Work is to be completed within 30 days of called requirement. Air Force will provide transportation of the material or equipment to be repaired to the contractor?s site. Materials, fabrication and repair of Custom Quartz Fixtures must be in accordance with specifications on attached drawings and Statement of Work. Period of Performance will begin on 14 July 2006 and end on 13 July 2007. FOB: Destination. Inspection and Acceptance: Destination. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.237-2. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of location of vendor, and price. A rate of 44.5 cents per mile, round trip for an estimate of 12 trips per year will be added to each quote to determine best value to Government. Offerors will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2.
