- The above referenced solicitation is hereby amended to respond to technical questions submitted, extend the due date for quotations. 1) Technical questions and responses are hereby provided: Question: To clarify the term rack mountable. Answer: NIST specified that three components be rack mountable. Rack mountable means the item shall be furnished with hardware to install in a standard box desktop with nominal dimensions of 133mm by 213mm by 267mm. If the contractor can provide the hardware to fit the supplied equipment (items) into this box, then that would meet our minimum specifications. The due date for quotations is hereby extended to April 7, 2006 12 PM.
