- Description
- The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, National Animal Germplasm Program, National Center for Genetic Resources Preservation, Fort Collins, Colorado, requires a contract for analysis of white blood cell and/or semen samples from varying breeds of sheep for the purpose of determining the genetic distance between the sheep breeds tested. Deliveries shall be made Monday through Friday only between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., excluding Federal holidays, unless otherwise scheduled. This acquisition is being conducted on a Commercial Items Best Value basis. Evaluation criteria in no order of preference are price, quality control, rapid delivery and past performance. This is a cascade solicitation that is 100% set-aside for small business (less than $6 million average annual gross receipts for last three years). In the event no reasonable offers are received from responsible small businesses, then offers from large businesses will be considered. The solicitation will be available in Adobe Acrobat format for downloading April 20. 2006. The offer response date is scheduled for May 5, 2006.
