- The Government intends to award a SOLE SOURCE acquisition to Gentex Corporation, 324 Main Street, Carbondale, PA 18407 for the Visor Flyer?s Helmet for the MBU 20/P. Solicitation will be issued a Firm Fixed Price requirement with a base year and two option years. The minimum quantity for the base and the two-year term options is 625 ea. The maximum quantity for the base and the two-year term options is 2,500 ea. Specifications, patterns, and drawings are not available from DSCP, as they are contractor owned. Delivery will be 180 days after award. FOB Destination. Destinations are DD New Cumberland, PA and DD Tracy, CA. All material is contractor furnished. Solicitation to be issued on or about April 19, 2006. Closing time for receipt of offers will be on or about May 23, 2006.
