- Description
- The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) anticipates issuance of a sole source, cost plus fixed fee contract to Weidlinger Associates, Incorporated (WAI) for the Damage Modeling and Computational Response Analysis and Improved Ground-Shock Vulnerability Number Development Program. Under this effort, WAI will apply high-fidelity physics-based codes to support test calculations requirements of the DTRA Technology Development Directorate. These services include design of experiments and tests, calculations to support data gathering and development, pre-test predictions and post-test analysis necessary to develop software to predict expected blast environments and associated structural response. WAI is the only responsible source capable of supporting this requirement. This announcement in no way commits the Government to make a contract award and does not authorize the contractor to incur pre-contract costs.
