Description

A requirement exsists for refurbishment of an armor kit for a Palletized Load System (PLS) for use on a Heavy Dry Support Bridge (DSB) chassis. Simula, as the sole producer of the Crew Protection Kit (CPK) for the PLS is the only source who can make the necessary changes to this original PLS CPK to include the Applique Kit now on the current PLS CPK and other ECPs that have been incorporated for the PLS CPK. Simula owns the Technical Data Package (TDP) for this armor kit. Only Simula can properly a ssess the situation and provide an updated PLS CPK to the DSB team in England to assess for future use with the DSB. This is a source source effort to Simula Aerospace and Defense Group, Inc. See note 22. This effort will be a modification to the current contract W56HZV-04-C-0259.
