- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision required to improve the Liquid Fuels Secondary Containment areas at the 109th Airlift Wing, Stratton ANGB, Scotia, NY, in accordance with the project plans and specifications. Stratto n ANGB has designed improvements to the Liquid Fuels Secondary Containment areas. The improvements shall include demolition, removals, relocations and installations necessary to construct the site improvements for the fuels area. The project includes remov al of existing pavements, curbing and sections of concrete walls. Clearing the site area and properly disposing the materials off base. Installation is required of cast in place concrete curbing, concrete sidewalks and all associated corresponding subbase materials. Procure and install new fiberglass holding tanks, manhole structures, drainage structures, new HDPE piping, new ECOSTOP systems and new concrete ramps. Work includes installationof slip lining for existing HDPE piping and two part epoxy system i n tank containment areas including other specified areas. Provide installation in accordance with all details outlined on the Contract Drawings and as specified in the Contract Specifications. Provide supervision and coordination including daily cleanup, s ubmittals and shop drawings. As built drawings are to be provided upon completion of the project. Currently, this is an UNFUNDED project but funding will be granted upon acceptance of successful offeror proposal. The WAGE RATE applicable for this project is NY20030002 modification 21 dated 3/3/06. PERFORMANCE PERIOD of this project is 180 calendar day s. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES are set at 380.00 dollars per day for each day past completion date. Representations and Certifications at FAR 52.212-3 are required. Contractor must have a valid registration at Central Contractor Registration database located at w ww.ccr.gov. A site visit of the project location will be held on 19 April 2006 at 1:00 PM.
