- This amendment is issued to correct a posting error. This solicitation number shall reflect the following informmation: Title No/Title: KYJM 05-9005; Roofing Maintenance and Repair IDIQ Set Aside: N/A Classification: Z Maintenance, repair, and alterations of real property NAICS Code: 238160 Current Point of contact: Johnnie Jacobs, (305) 224-7403 or Henry Burgains, (305)224-7403 Project No: KYJM 05-9005, Roof Repair Maintenance: This acquisition is for repair/replace/install of roofing to various buildings located on Homestead ARB, FL. The work to be performed is in connection with repairing and replacing the roofs and shall consist of, but is not limited to, roof survey and generation of drawings; removal of existing flat roof systems and insulation; repair/replacement of roof decking; removal of roof penetrations/equipment and capping; replacement of wood blocking and nailers, installation of new flat roof systems and insulation; repair/replacement of perimeter and field flashings; repair/replacement of trim, fascia, gutters, downspouts, soffits, scuppers, roof drains, and passive ventilators; repair of various roof system deficiencies; repair or extending of parapets; removal and re-installation, or new installation of lightning protection systems; removal and re-installation of electrical conduits per the most recent National Electric Code; installation of stucco and painting of new wall surfaces; and minor repairs to standing seam metal roof (SSMR) systems. Each task order will include a target start date and performance period. The acquisition shall be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price type contract one base year plus 4 optional years with each performance period having a maximum dollar threshold of $750,000.00. The solicitation is unrestricted and is open to all interested parties. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 30 April 2006. Firms must be registered in the Central Contractor?s Registration (CCR) and OCRA prior the time of award.
