- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under solicitation number VA786-06-RP-0058 for the following service: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material, and supplies necessary to furnish inscription service for (VO) Upright Granite Headstones, (R2) Reverse Inscription of Upright Granite Headstones and (LO) Small Thin Flat Granite Markers for Southern Wisconsin Veteran Cemetery, 21731 Spring Street, Union Grove, WI 53182, from date of award through September 30, 2006 (base period) with up to three (3) 1-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2009. 100 mile geographical restriction from place of performance placed on solicitation. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, terms and conditions of the contract. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS Code is 561990. Size standard of 6M are applicable. Adverse weather typical of the geographical area in which the veteran cemetery is located shall not be a reason for delinquent performance. The contractor shall be required to completer the inscription work order within ten (10) calendar days from the time of receipt of the order document. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Past Performance, 2) Specifications, 3) Timeliness of Deliveries, 4) Price. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about April 28, 2006. Responses to the solicitation are due by 4:00 p.m., May 23, 2006. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at Fed Biz Opps. See Numbered Note 1.
