- The Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy is accepting quotations for the installation of a new roof system & siding replacement for Building 2436 (gsf 5040), located at 2302 U.S. Hwy. 60 East, Morganfield, Kentucky. Project Scope of Work: Furnish all labor, equipment, materials and tools to cover the on-site requirements for installation of 26 gauge steel roof, 2X4 nailers, eave flashing, ridge with vented closures, and flashing at firewalls and rake trim at gable ends. Furnish labor and materials to install furring strips to attach 26 gauge painted metal siding over the existing siding. A new pained metal base zee and new painted metal "J" trim shall be provided at the eave or gable. Debris to be hauled to the Academy's landfill. Decking repair up to 15% with photo documentation. All repairs in excess of 15% require prior approval. Colors and samples will be verified by academy personnel before start of any project. A mandatory pre-quote walk through is scheduled for Thursday, 4/20/06, @ 10:00 a.m., Building 2435. Quotes to be returned by C.O.B. on Thursday, 5/04/06. Davis Bacon Wage Determination is applicable.
