Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall furnish and install fiber-cement siding and trim on specified buildings and paint specified buildings at the Nolichucky Work Center, Greeneville, TN. Work will include: Removing exterior battens, window and door trim, gutters, downspouts, facia, soffit and other trim. Furnishing and installing fiber-cement products on the walls, facia, soffit and trim. Furnishing and installing gutters and downspouts and painting all surfaces including doors and windows. Contract time is 60 days from effective date of the Notice to Proceed. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. PROJECT LOCATION: Nolichucky Work Center, Nolichucky Ranger District, Cherokee National Forest, 9344 Asheville Hwy. Greeneville, TN 37743. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-4756-S-06-0008, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quotation and will be available for downloading on or about April 18, 2006 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A Pre-Bid visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information is available at the site including how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are also required to be registered with the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
