- This posting represents the pre-solicitation notice through March 24, 2006 and subsequent contract solicitation commencing on March 25, 2006 and closing 3:00 P.M. April 13, 2006. This is an Open Market solicitation for Cushioning Materials. The contract term will be date of award through May 31, 2006 with an opportunity for four (4) additional option periods of twelve months each. The procurement will consist of 7 NSN?s of various cushioning material. Estimated dollar value for all NSN?s is $280,000 per year. Pricing will be FOB Destination only. Each NSN will be broken into 5 zones, A thru E. Zone A will be delivery for pacific states, Zone B will be the Mountain area of the country, etc, etc. Bidding will be accepted for all zones or partial zones for the NSN?s the firm is interested in. A 25% surcharge clause will be in effect on all orders the government places that are under $500.00.
