- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to enter into a purchase order on a sole source basis with Fairborn Equipment Company for the procurement of 2 each, with an option quantity for 6, Sharp Reconnaissance pod / camera customized XYZ lift tables, a specialized piece of support equipment for removal of cameras from the SHARP Reconnaissance pod. The Sharp Reconnaissance pod / camera customized XYZ lift table was competed during the original design phase. Development of a full procurement package would require access to proprietary supplier drawings which are not owned or available to the Government. The Government intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
