Description

SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE FEDTEDS WEBSITE (www.fedteds.gov). Solicitation will be issued on or about 5 April, 2006. Contractor shall furnish and deliver (in bulk) 4,000 gallons of Mobile DTE Heavy turbine oil (or approved equa l) to Ice Harbor Dam located at Burbank, WA 99323. The turbine oil viscosity grade shall be ISO 100. Substitutions may be considered provided that compatibility between the proposed oil and the in-service oil is demonstrated. The compatibility tests sha ll be conducted by Herguth Labs using Methodology HL-1193. The Contractors shall submit two copies of technical data sheets and MSDS along with the bid to the Contracting Office. After bid closing date, the Government will contact the lowest acceptable bidder for a one gallon sample of the proposed oil for compati bility testing. The Government will also contact Herguth Labs to arrange for testing and supply samples of in-service hydraulic oil. Samples of proposed oil shall be supplied to the Government at no additional expense to the Government. ADMIN INFO: Solic itation is 100% set-aside for small business contractors. For the purpose of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if it does not exceed 500 personnel. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325998.
