Description: See numbered note: 12. 2530-01-477-4194, brake shoe set being procured in accordance with AM General (34623) P/N 5745182 or Friction Products (9G780) P/N WPD7019-M, under FAR Part 12 for commercial items. Total quantity required is 8022 each with 747 each going to (W62G2T) Stockton, CA 95296-0130 and 7275 each going to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This solicitation is an RFQ and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfq after the issue date 04/05/06. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, socioeconomic and JWOD as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is 2500 each in 150 days and 2500 each every 30 days thereafter until complete. A written quotation is required and is to be returned to the buyer at Defense Supply Center Columbus, PO Box 3990, Columbus, OH 43218-3990, ATTN: Sharon Harper, LDAC1 or can be fax to 614-693-1576. In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certification electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement is now appearing in solicitations. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instruction and requirements in solicitation and contract awards.
