Description
Amendment 002 is issued to make the following changes. A. The Statement of Work is revised as follows: Any transportation around the RV trailers and parking spaces such as the use of a golf cart or car shall be provided by the guard contractor (not by the Government). Foot patrol is acceptable . B. The guard contractor shall ensure that all on-duty guards are armed with handguns and corresponding ammunition. The contractor (not the Government) shall be responsible for providing weapons/ammunition. The following questions have been asked and answered: Does the security contractor have to be licensed by the state of Louisiana as a security agency and as an agency licensed to carry firearms in the state of Louisiana??? ---- See RFQ Paragraph P.1: The guard contractor shall make and complete arrangements so that any guard assigned to this contract meets the following qualifications: 1. Each guard has on his person all required local, state and Federal commissions, permits, and licenses regarding security guard services and the possession of firearms at all times while on duty. YES, permits required for the state of Louisiana What is the desired firearm??? --- The desired firearm is a HANDGUN. What is the desired ammunition??? --- The desired ammunition is that which is compatible to the contractor chosen handgun. All other terms and conditions remain the same. Offers are due by 3/29/06 3:00 Central time.
