- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to solicit proposals for business services to assist in reorganizing and reshaping the management structure and workforce of the Direct Reporting Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (DRPM AAA). The purpose of the reorganization will be to transition the organization from an engineering/testing centric focus to a production and life cycle support centric organization. It is expected that the qualified contractor will have corporate capabilities and experience in the following areas: (1) experience in reorganizing and reshaping a workforce, (2) knowledge of a workforce structure to support a production and life cycle support organization, (3) knowledge of DoD acquisition functions and organizations, (4) knowledge of the functions and phases of ground combat vehicle acquisition, and (5) knowledge of program structure for Acquisition Category (ACAT) I organizations. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 541611 and a size standard of $6,500,000. The Government intends to award a fixed price contract. A text copy of the solicitation, M67854-06-Q-0027, will be available on or about 4 April 2006 and will be posted on www.neco.navy.mil.
