- North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office (NARCO) intends to competitively award a commercial, Personal Services contract, for Pediatric Intensivist Physician services located at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, Washington, D.C. The solicitation is un-restricted. NAICS Code: 621111. The contractor will provide a full range pediatric intensivist services, and be expected to, but not limited to, function as a member of the staff of the WRAMC Pediatric Residency Training Pr ogram and participate in resident education to include Critical Care Fellowship Training Program as Consultant or residency instructor; conduct formal PICU teaching rounds at least five (5) days per week with on-service pediatric house staff on aspects of diagnosis and management of PICU patients; provide technical guidance and supervision for residents in performance of procedures such as insertion of central intravenous and intra-arterial lines, intubations and rapid sequence induction, and other procedur es; provide consultation services by telephone twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week including federal holidays; perform physical examinations and overall assessment of the patients status and progress; and on weekends and holidays make hospital patient care rounds with an on-call pediatric house staff. All offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration database, www.ccr.gov. Estimated start is on or about 15 May 06.
