- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will award the Terminal Automation Modernization and Replacement (TAMR) requirement as announced November 9, 2005, to Raytheon under the existing Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) contract, DTFA01-96-D-03008. The TAMR requirement calls for the modernization of the Automated Radar Terminal System (ARTS) model IIIE, Full Digital ARTS Display (FDAD) systems located at four Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facilities, and their associated air traffic control towers, located in Chicago, ILL.; Denver, CO.; St. Louis MO; and Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN.
