- L.A. Job Corps is requesting bids for medical/clinical facility to provide physician assistant or practioner nurse to complete physical examination on adolescent or young adult on-site clinic, for no more than 8 days per month and approximately 933 physical exams per year. The terms of the contract will be for two years commencing on May 1, 2006 and continuing until April 30, 2008 with the option to extend this contract's period for up to three years in successive one year increments. YWCA of Greater Los Angeles operates the Los Angeles Job Corps Center under contract with the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration. Job Corps is a federally funded training and education program for youth ages 16-24 years and who meet certain other criteria. The successful bidder must also comply with all Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses and be compliant under all related federal statutory requirements and regulations.
