Description

It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine to negotiate on a sole source basis with F5 Networks Inc, 401 Elliott Avenue West, Seattle, Washington 98119 for hardware maintenance and support services under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302 for existing proprietary hardware. Vendors may identify in writing their interest in responding to this requirement along with their capabilities or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received no later than the closing date of this announcement will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed acquisition, based on the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. ALL REASONABLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A QUOTATION WHICH, IF RECEIVED TIMELY, SHALL BE CONSIDERED BY THE AGENCY.
